meme

I don't even know how to pronounce it, but I figured I'd inaugurate my first blog by meme'ing myself, since blogging is such a narcissistic endeavor anyway and I'm a little too hungover from last night's NYMF closing party to come up with anything more sensitive or meaningful. so here goes:

how it works: list 5 things that certain people (who are not deserving of being your friend anyway) may consider to be "totally lame," but you are, despite the possible stigma, totally proud of. Own it. Tag 5 others.

1. I once wore a feathered headdress on a cruise ship and, yes, I was in a show. I rocked a musical theatre version of C&C Music Factory's "Tribal Dance." watching this clip hurts my feelings a little...and may hurt yours a lot.
that said, can you say you ever sang C&C Music Factory in a headdress????

2. I actually like working out. I like it so much I used to go in the middle of the night when World Gym was open up at Lincoln Center. awww, remember that place? I even worked out once while I was high. it made total sense at the time...just sayin'.

3. church hymns make me cry sometimes. which means I cry in church about once a year.

4. I save my PlayBills. ok - maybe I'm not exactly proud of that, but we're a dying breed...

5. I sometimes enjoy getting cat-calls from strangers. favorites usually coming from NYC's finest - the homeless. I figure if I can still elicit a "hello mommy" and it's not coming from my kid, I'm doing a-ok.
